The Baby....so far

Well, tomorrow the baby will be 15 weeks old! So far we've seen the Ob twice, everything looks good, other than the RhoGam shot that is looming in my near future, a few more weeks before that though. Here are some ultrasound pictures that were taken on our first doctor visit...

The baby's heartbeat was about 169 BPM at 10+ weeks, nice and steady....that little dotted line going through the baby is showing where the heart is located. The head is on the left and the body is on the right.

The head is on the left, body on the right, the little white spot is a fist....I think anyways.


Pretty much like the last one but the body is a little clearer.

We have our official sonogram on December 31st to find out the baby's sex but we're already pretty certain (99.99999%) what it is however we're not telling! Anyways name choices are: Logan (Celtic for "Little Hollow") Connor (Irish for "Lover of Hounds") for a boy and Callista (Greek for "Most Beautiful") Abigail (Hebrew for "Father's Joy") and no we did NOT choose Callista after Calista Flockheart...it's a child's name from a book I read.
The estimated due date is May 20th, 2009.
Nursery themes are: Lions & Elephants for a boy (mostly lions) and Carousel Horses and Carebears for a girl.
I'll try to keep this updated pretty regularly and post new pictures when I can.
